Symbotic is proud to announce its sponsorship of the FIRST Robotics Competition GameSense show and affiliated FIRST Robotics Team 319
Symbotic is proud to announce our sponsorship of FRC GameSense as they continue to expand their program. GameSense will be debuting several new shows this season, including a live-event broadcast and color commentary show, premiering live at Chezy Champs, a premiere off-season FIRST Robotics competition, in San Jose, California on 8/30-8/31. Be sure to stream live or watch on-demand via their YouTube Channel.
FRC GameSense is a group of FIRST Robotics Challenge (FRC) enthusiasts and veterans that joined together in early 2014 to air live discussion of the games, the robots, the teams, and the events to their ever-growing audience in the FRC community. GameSense features one of our Symbots, Ty Tremblay, and his fellow co-founders Evan Morrison, Stephanie Morrison, Francis O’Rourke, Navid Shafa, and David McLaughlin.
Symbotic is also proud to announce our sponsorship of FIRST Robotics Team #319 and their robot named “Big Bad Bob.” Operating out of Prospect Mountain High School in Alton, NH, Team 319 was recently successful at a number of regional contests and traveled to the national championship held at St. Louis, MO earlier this year where they competed against 399 of the best robotics teams in the country. They ended their season with an impressive record of 39-27-1 and look forward to their next season starting in 2015. In the meantime, Team 319, stays busy touring New England to build momentum for the FIRST Robotics initiative.
The FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Challenge is an organized international high school robotics competition that was established in 1992. Teams of high school students compete every year to build robots that can play in a game. In order to keep the program fresh and the competition fair, the game changes every year. Each team is given six weeks, a set of parts to get them started, a budget and set of rules to construct a competitive robot that can operate both autonomously and guided by wireless controls to accomplish the game tasks.behind the lines, big bad bob, chezy champs, FIRST robotics, FIRST robotics competition, FIRST team 319, FRC, FRC behind the lines, FRC GameSense, FRC team 319, GameSense, New England, PMHS, Prospect Mountain High School, symbotic, Symbotic LLC, Team 319
