California Consumer Privacy Notice

Effective Date: July 15, 2021

This California Consumer Privacy Notice (the “California Privacy Notice”) supplements the Symbotic Privacy Notice and applies solely to the personal information of California consumers collected by Symbotic Inc. This California Privacy Notice does not apply to Symbotic employees, contractors or job applicants or business contact information collected about Symbotic’s service providers and business partners.

This California Privacy Notice is intended to address the relevant notice requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq. and its implementing regulations (the “CCPA”), as modified by the California Privacy Rights Act (the “CPRA”). Certain terms used in this California Privacy Notice have the meaning given to them in the CCPA or CPRA and their implementing regulations.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Symbotic does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary compensation or other valuable consideration and has not sold any personal information in the past twelve (12) months. Symbotic does not share personal information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising purposes.

Your California Consumer Privacy Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information under California law.

  • Access: You have the right to request that we provide you with access to the personal information we have collected, used, disclosed and sold about you during the past 12 months.   • Limit the Use or Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information: Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request that we limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information we have collected from you. Only you or an authorized agent that is registered with the California Secretary of State to conduct business in California may make a verifiable consumer request with respect to your personal information. To verify your identity, we may ask you to provide your name, address and email address and sign a declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose personal information is the subject of the request.

We will not discriminate or retaliate against you if you choose to exercise any of your rights under the CCPA. We are permitted, however, to charge you a reasonable fee to comply with your request.

Updates to the California Privacy Notice

Symbotic may update this California Privacy Notice at any time and without prior notice to you to reflect any changes to our information practices or to comply with applicable laws or regulations. We will post a notice on the Site to notify you of any significant changes to our California Privacy Notice and indicate at the top of the notice when it was most recently updated.
