Jake Gearwar is Symbotic’s Vice President of Finance & Corporate Controller, responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy and operations. Jake joined Symbotic in January 2012 and has more than 15 years of experience in finance and organizational leadership, including expertise in financial planning and analysis, corporate growth strategy, cash management, process improvement and accounting.

Prior to Symbotic, Jake served as a Financial Planning Manager for Netezza Corporation, which was acquired by IBM in 2010. Jake has also held various corporate finance positions at New Balance and May Department Stores (now Macy’s). He earned a bachelor’s in economics and finance from Bentley University.
