What we need

The primary responsibility of the Inspection Technician II is to, under limited supervision, execute all functions of inspection of robotic vehicles and subassemblies as outlined by the released OMS (Operations Method Sheets) and provide feedback to management any discrepancies in the materials that have been return.
What we do
The Warehouse team within the Service Center of Excellence is dedicated to supporting service, repair, testing, evaluation, and field support activities. We manage the shipping, receiving, and material handling for repair-related materials. Our primary focus is on meeting the repair and service material needs essential for customer service. The team works in close collaboration with other departments to ensure accurate material movement and transaction processing.
What you’ll do
Inspect incoming bots and materials to determine repair actions required and replacement parts needed.
Provide feedback to the Quality team about received materials to determine warranty status.
Maintain Quality Inspection requirements and results to properly record inspection data.
Accurately document inspection data, observations, and retain paperwork and electronic records in compliance with approved procedures utilizing Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Maintainsa safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Provide input for continuous improvement of inspection procedures, specifications, and processes.
Train employees/contractors in the basics for inspection practices and documentation.
What you’ll need
Associates degree or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of previous experience inspecting materials, preferably in a Machine Shop or Manufacturing Assembly environment.
1-3 years of previous experience inspecting robotic vehicles preferred.
Computer knowledge, including experience using Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
Experience with ERP applications such as SAP or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred.
Ability to take initiative, remain highly organized, and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to lift 60 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
Willingness to learn, absorb, and utilize information in a demanding environment.
Our Environment
There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure. You may be required to routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure.
You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground.
Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. Must be capable of working in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
AT times you may be at a construction site with PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness).
Frequent ability to safely and efficiently lift items weighing up to 50lbs and move items weighing up to 80lbs.
Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. Where you may need to be able to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be capable of occasional and/or continuous feeling, seeing, hearing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, balancing, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects, and repetitive movement using both hands and feet. Must comply with all safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocols.
