As Head of Engineering, Marshall Aurnou is responsible for managing Symbotic’s hardware, electrical and controls engineering to meet the company’s business goals.

Marshall joined Symbotic in mid-2020 and brings over 20 years of experience in engineering management.  Prior to joining Symbotic, he was Vice President of Engineering Operations at JR Automation, a leading global systems integrator and solutions provider.  Marshall has led global organizations in world-class product development, productivity, innovation, quality and growth/profitability.  His diversified background includes 30 years of engineering and operations senior leadership roles at Tyco and Trident Motion Technologies, including more than 22 years with GE, with his last role leading global engineering for their Motors & Controls business.  Marshall is certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Marshall has a BSME in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and MS in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.
