Who We Are 

Program Management plays a critical role in supporting complex automation programs across Symbotic. The team partners with stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, installation, finance, and operations to improve project execution, drive organizational alignment, and establish scalable processes that support business growth. The Program Management focuses on creating visibility into program health, strengthening governance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across cross-functional initiatives.  

What We Need 

We are seeking a motivated Program Management Intern to support strategic initiatives focused on project governance, process improvement, and cross-functional program execution. This role is ideal for a student interested in project management, operations, industrial engineering, or business process optimization. 

As a PMO Intern, you will work alongside project and program leaders to analyze processes, develop reporting and visualization tools, improve communication workflows, and support initiatives that increase organizational effectiveness. You will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that help teams make better decisions, improve visibility into program performance, and enhance how information is shared across the business. 

What You'll Do 

• Support strategic PMO initiatives focused on improving project execution, communication, and operational efficiency. 

• Partner with project managers and cross-functional teams to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement. 

• Analyze project data and business processes to uncover trends, risks, dependencies, and areas for optimization. 

• Help create dashboards, reports, process documentation, and visual tools that make complex information easier to understand. 

• Contribute to projects that improve visibility, consistency, and governance across large programs. 

• Participate in team meetings and workshops, helping capture action items, key decisions, and project updates. 

• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams. 

• Gain exposure to how engineering, supply chain, operations, finance, and project teams collaborate to deliver business outcomes. 

What You'll Need 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field. 

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. 

• Curious mindset with a desire to learn new tools, processes, and ways of working. 

• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders. 

• Comfortable working with data and drawing insights from information. 

• Exposure to Power BI, Smartsheet, Jira, or other project management and reporting tools is a plus. 

• Ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
