What we need 

We are looking for a TA Operations Manager to join our Talent Acquisition team. Your job will be to streamline recruitment processes, optimize tools and technologies, and ensure efficient coordination between various stakeholders involved in the hiring process. You will collaborate closely with recruiters and cross-functional partners to understand challenges and to identify and implement process improvements. You will also own and manage a team to oversee the hiring and develop process for our contingent workforce hiring process; supporting vendor relations, new contractor onboarding, and operational reporting. 

 

What we do 

The Talent Acquisitions team is part of the Human Resources organization, which is responsible for recruitment, administration, compensation, benefits, training & development, performance management and employee relations. The Talent Acquisition team supports the organization by engaging, attracting, and identifying top talent into the Symbotic organization. We are excited to identify someone on the TA team to enhance our process and procedures.  

 

What you’ll do 

TA Operations  

  • Lead and execute critical TA projects by clearly defining the objective, scope of work, data-backed solutions, while including cross-functional collaboration to bring efficiency and effectiveness to the Talent Acquisition team. 

  • Update and build out process and training materials for TA team, as well as company-wide recruiting resources for Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Leadership. 

  • Analyze existing operational process and efficiency that impact team and cross-functional experience to identify improvement opportunities. 

  • With guidance from TA Leads, develop and implement efficient and effective recruitment processes impacting sourcing strategies, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection procedures while driving one source of truth in our ATS System (Workday).  

  • Manage TA's relationships with internal partners to align their needs with TA's priorities through various processes and sharing relevant reporting. 

  • Conduct regular reporting audits (Req reconciliation) to ensure consistent data hygiene ensuring accuracy and ability to pick up discrepancies. 

  • Partner and collaborate with the People Operations team to ensure a smooth onboarding hand-off process from TA to People Ops. 

  • Lead a team of coordinator(s) and recruiter(s) providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to foster professional growth and development. 

  • Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to drive individual and team success. 

  • Stay on top of industry trends in the TA Operations space to help advance our processes. 

  

Contingent Labor  

  • Operational responsibility for the centralized recruitment and procurement of contingent workforce for all functions across Symbotic.   

  • Primary liaison to guide hiring managers and staffing agencies through the contractor acquisition process, for requisition engagement, screening and hiring.  

  • The program lead will provide contractor market knowledge (including general availability of skills, rate guidelines) and relevant contingent workforce legislation.  

  • Lead the entire contractor recruitment lifecycle - Vendor resume screening, interview coordination, negotiating rates, offer presentation, creating and maintaining candidate record in the ATS, ensuring all documentation is completed for new contractors.   

What you’ll need 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.   

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition profession; direct full life cycle recruitment experience preferred.  

  • Minimum of 5 years in a TA Operations role at a fast-paced, growth-oriented company. 

  • Direct management experience preferred.  

  • ATS experience (Workday Preferred).  

  • Strong excel skills and ability to understand systems and analytics. 

  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and completeness. 

  • Proven project management and leadership skills. 

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively at all levels of an organization. 

  • Up to 10% travel may be requested.
