Engineering is at the heart of what we do at Symbotic. Our hardware, mechanical, electrical and controls engineers work together to develop new solutions, utilize advanced hardware, and push the limits of technology to build the world-class Symbotic System. Every improvement, idea and invention are quickly implemented because the nation’s largest retailers depend on our solutions to run their businesses.
The Implementation and Quality Management teams oversee the beginning and final stages of system integration, testing, optimization and quality management of our system before the automation solution is put into operation. This team works closely with engineers and technicians to fine-tune robotics and automation systems, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards, safety regulations, commissioning and customer requirements. Their expertise helps Symbotic deliver efficient and reliable solutions to clients across various industries.
Corporate roles in Legal, Finance, Marketing & Sales, and HR & Talent Acquisition support the business in a variety of ways. At Symbotic, these teams partner with business leaders and work collaboratively to enable critical infrastructure. Like all other roles, these team members significantly contribute to the growth and the overall success of Symbotic.
The Site Operations organization is responsible for leading training and the day-to-day operations of Symbotic’s robotic warehouse automation system. They drive operational excellence by engaging and partnering with our customers to drive best-in-class production, quality, safety and system performance. Our Training team partners with our customer sites by leading training and development for System Operations and Maintenance.
Our Supply Chain team is responsible for sourcing, procurement and third-party supplier partnerships focused on innovative category management strategies in collaboration with the business. The team focuses on building third-party partner agreements and also helps to manage supplier relationships and commercial and financial pricing models for overall supplier performance.
As we continue to rapidly scale our organization, our Technology, Software and Robotics teams play a hands-on role in the development and support of a suite of applications for our next generation of autonomous mobile robots. Our teams work across functions to conceptualize and develop real-time, high-performance software.
