What we need
We are looking to hire Operations and Events Lead, Communications. You will support operational excellence and execution for a key portfolio of brand-building and employee-facing initiatives. In this role you will oversee all aspects of our employer branding events throughout the year, ensuring our presence is professional, on-brand, and strategically aligned. In addition, you will be focused on bringing greater operational process, maintaining a centralized communications playbook and toolset, implementing streamlined approval policies, and with responsibility for communications reporting and awards management while providing executional support on our community engagement and philanthropy programs. This position reports to the VP, Internal Communications.

The Communications team is a part of the Human Resources organization and plays a vital role in ensuring that internal and external audiences are appropriately informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's goals and culture.
What you’ll do
Employer Branding Event Planning and Execution
Lead planning and end-to-end execution of employer branding events (e.g., industry conferences, community events), ensuring logistics, branding, and presence reflect our company values and goals.
Manage relationships with vendors, event organizers, and internal stakeholders to ensure flawless delivery.
Ensure post-event reporting and follow-up processes are in place to capture learnings and ROI.
Operational and Communications Infrastructure
Support the creation/update and implementation of core communications processes and frameworks, including:
A formal external messaging policy with review and sign-off procedures.
A social media policy to guide employee participation.
A unified communications calendar covering internal, external, social, and executive activity.
Communications Tools and Resources
Build and maintain a centralized Communications Playbook, including:
Key messaging, company facts, tough-topic guidance, FAQs, and corporate overview materials.
A spokesperson hub on the company intranet for quick access to essential tools, decks, videos, and talking points.
Public-facing media kits on corporate websites and social media kits.
Measurement, Reporting, and Recognition
Maintain systems for communications reporting, analytics, and tracking — including regular summaries of reach, engagement, and outcomes across channels.
Manage our communications awards program, from identifying opportunities to submitting entries and promoting wins.
Assist in logistics, communications, and employee participation strategies across volunteer and giving programs.
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years’ of experience in communications, event planning, project management, or operations.
Proven experience managing complex events, logistics, or branding activations with excellence.
Demonstrated ability to implement and manage systems, processes, and toolkits across a team.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a bias toward action and precision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence working cross-functionally with teams, executives, and external partners.
Experience with communications or brand measurement platforms and analytics tools.
Hybrid role based in Wilmington, MA. (3 days a week)
Our Environment
Up to 15% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
