What we need 

We are looking for a Senior SQA Engineer to join our Software Quality Assurance team within our Software Engineering organization. Your job will be to validate the quality, reliability, and performance of Symbotic software deployed across customer environments. This role will help ensure the successful delivery of business-critical products and solutions that support warehouse automation and logistics operations. 

What we do 

The Software Quality Assurance team is part of the Software Engineering organization which is responsible for validating and ensuring the quality of the software that powers Symbotic's automation platform. The team works closely with software development, business analysis, and project management teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that support customer operations and supply chain performance. 

What you'll do 

  • Validate the quality of Symbotic software deployed across customer environments. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software development, business analysis, project management, and other engineering teams. 

  • Install, configure, and validate complex software stacks across multiple environments. 

  • Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex systems and subsystems. 

  • Execute manual and automated test cases while creating new test cases for advanced functionality. 

  • Submit, track, verify, and help triage defects throughout the software development lifecycle. 

  • Define, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards, frameworks, and testing methodologies. 

What you'll need 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related field. 

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including black box, gray box, white box, system, integration, performance, scalability, failover, recovery, validation, and verification testing. 

  • Experience developing and executing automated testing solutions. 

  • Familiarity with SQL, XML, JSON, and C#. 

  • Experience with microservices architecture and technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, and Helm. 

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and supporting unscheduled events. 

Our environment 

  • Up to 10% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations. 

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $101,000.00 - $138,600.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
