What we need 

As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will serve as a key strategic finance leader, providing strategic, top level support and guidance across the organization. This highly visible role is responsible for leading the company’s enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as delivering actionable insights that drive business performance. You will oversee a team of embedded financial analysts, ensuring strong financial rigor, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement in planning and decision-making.

What we do

The FP&A team is part of the Finance organization which is responsible for financial reporting requirements, various weekly and monthly reporting, preparation of Management Review Packages, investor relations support, business forecasting, M&A modeling, and involvement with ad-hoc projects.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the company’s financial planning processes, including annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. 

  • Partner with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to provide forward-looking financial insights, scenario analyses, and recommendations that support data-driven decisions. 

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial results and variance analyses across all three financial statements, delivering executive-ready reports for the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors. 

  • Develop and manage complex financial models to support forecasting, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives. 

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing FP&A team, including embedded analysts across multiple business units; coach and mentor team members to enhance technical, analytical, and business partnership skills. 

  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of financial planning and reporting. 

  • Provide strategic support for corporate development initiatives, investments, and business cases, including ad-hoc analyses and decision support. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership team, influencing strategy through clear financial storytelling and thought leadership. 

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 

  • Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least minimum 5 years leading FP&A teams in a complex, fast-paced environment. 

  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership, drive strategic conversations, and influence decisions. 

  • Advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis with deep proficiency in Excel and financial systems. 

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. 

  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. 

  • High attention to detail with the ability to balance strategic thinking and tactical execution. 

  • Hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days per week in office) based in Wilmington, MA office. 

Our environment

  • Up to 10% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.   

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed bi-weekly.
