What we need
As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will serve as a key strategic finance leader, providing strategic, top level support and guidance across the organization. This highly visible role is responsible for leading the company’s enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, as well as delivering actionable insights that drive business performance. You will oversee a team of embedded financial analysts, ensuring strong financial rigor, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement in planning and decision-making.
What we do
The FP&A team is part of the Finance organization which is responsible for financial reporting requirements, various weekly and monthly reporting, preparation of Management Review Packages, investor relations support, business forecasting, M&A modeling, and involvement with ad-hoc projects.
What you’ll do
Lead the company’s financial planning processes, including annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Partner with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to provide forward-looking financial insights, scenario analyses, and recommendations that support data-driven decisions.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial results and variance analyses across all three financial statements, delivering executive-ready reports for the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.
Develop and manage complex financial models to support forecasting, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives.
Build, lead, and scale a high-performing FP&A team, including embedded analysts across multiple business units; coach and mentor team members to enhance technical, analytical, and business partnership skills.
Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of financial planning and reporting.
Provide strategic support for corporate development initiatives, investments, and business cases, including ad-hoc analyses and decision support.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership team, influencing strategy through clear financial storytelling and thought leadership.
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least minimum 5 years leading FP&A teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to partner with senior leadership, drive strategic conversations, and influence decisions.
Advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis with deep proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent executive communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to balance strategic thinking and tactical execution.
Hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days per week in office) based in Wilmington, MA office.
Our environment
Up to 10% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed bi-weekly.
